AARI is the first Algal Biotechnology Training and Research Institute in Chennai. AARI is equipped with a state-of-the-art bio-analytical lab. The prime focus of the institute is to develop an industrial-ready workforce as well as algal biotechnological entrepreneurs. Moreover, AARI is bridging between academia and biotechnology industries. We do research on Microbial and Molecular Biology. Our team members are being part of many industries as consultants.

The Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) in Berlin is a non-university research institute located at the Research Campus Berlin-Buch. It conducts basic research in molecular pharmacology and provides a vibrant and collaborative environment with state-of-the-art facilities for research and employees from all over the world.
The Broichhagen Lab (Section Chemical Biology: https://www.broichhagenlab.com/) is looking for a post-doctoral fellow in chemical biology, protein engineering and cell biology. Our team works at the interface of chemistry and biology and aims to expand its interdisciplinarity in the future. The position is funded by a Steve Morgan Foundation Type 1 Diabetes Grand Challenge, supported by Diabetes UK and JDRF, and focusses on “beta cell replacement” together with participating teams at the University of Birmingham and University of Oxford, UK. The post is to be filled in April/May 2024, initially limited to 2 years with the possibility for extension. We seek highly motivated, ambitious, and talented young scientists to join an enthusiastic and collaborative team in an outstanding scientific environment. Successful postdoc applicants will hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Chemical Biology, ideally in combination with molecular biology (cloning, deep mutational scans, protein expression and characterization), cell biology (immortalized and primary cell culture) and microscopic imaging (fluorescent confocal spinning disc, widefield, STED and CLEM) and have a strong track record of accomplishments. All applicants are expected to benefit from excellent written and oral communication skills and display a high personal motivation to excel in science. The working language is English.
