Fully Funded PhD Position in enzymatic polymer synthesis and recycling Application Deadline: 29 March 2024 Country: Sweden  Project description Third-cycle subject: Chemistry Syrén’s research group  is recruiting up to two PhD students in enzymatic polymer synthesis and recycling for circular materials. In this research project funded by Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Swedish Energy Agency, the successful candidate(s) will develop enzyme-based technologies for the synthesis and recycling of plastics. The project involves de novo protein design and development of new-to-nature biocatalytic reactions with the aim of tackling the “plastic problem” by potentially revolutionizing green chemistry to address synthetic materials that can not be recycled today.
