While marine red algae dominate our coastal vocabulary, their freshwater counterparts, the Rhodophyta, represent an ancient and highly specialized evolutionary lineage.  18 Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Chemical Biological Centre, Umeå, Sweden Several Interdisciplinary (18) Postdoctoral Fellowships (2 years) at the Chemical Biological Centre, Umeå, Sweden The Chemical Biological Centre (KBC), jointly with several departments at Umeå University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), offer four postdoctoral fellowships that will be affiliated with interdisciplinary projects (see list below). The selected candidates are expected to start as soon as possible. The Postdoctoral Programme is funded by the Kempe Foundations and aims to encourage new synergies in interdisciplinary research, train outstanding young researchers, and stimulate cutting-edge research in Umeå. AARI Summer Internship on Algal Biotechnology for Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai Students May-June 2025

 Summer Internship 2025 Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI), conducted 15 days summer internship program for Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai, PG Botany final year students.  The Internship program was covering Biomass Production, Biomass Harvesting, Biomass Processing, Lipid Extraction, Phycoremediation, SLF and other topics related to Algal Biotechnology.
