We seek an excellent, open-minded and team-spirited PhD candidate. We are looking for a person with a background in (bio-) statistics, mathematics or related disciplines who is interested in longitudinal data analysis, causal inference and applications in epidemiology.

Responsibilities:

  • To support the harmonization of data of multiple cohort studies to generate a dataset covering the lifespan
  • Develop theory for and assess methods via simulations
  • Publish and present research results
  • To advance mixed-effects machine learning approaches to go from factual to counterfactual prediction

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in (bio-)statistics, mathematics, or related disciplines
