Are you holding PhD degree and looking for Postdoctoral Fellowships? Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, New York invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.

1. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

A postdoc position is immediately available to study the biology of acute leukemia and perform preclinical evaluation of promising therapeutic approaches for acute leukemia. Candidates should be highly motivated and able to work independently in designing, performing, and analyzing experiments. Experience in data presentation (oral/poster) and writing skills are highly desired. Proficiency in laboratory skills includes flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy, in vitro proliferation/cytotoxicity assays, western blots, RNA/DNA extraction and other molecular biology techniques are required. Candidates with prior experience working on tumor mouse models are preferred (but not required).

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

2. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

A Postdoctoral position is open for a highly motivated candidate in the laboratory of Dr. AJ Robert McGray in the Department of Immunology. The project will focus on developing and optimizing strategies for the delivery of immune cell engagers (e.g. BiTEs) targeting the tumor and/or tumor stroma as potent cancer immunotherapies. The selected individual will use both in vitro systems and in vivo mouse models to develop, validate, and therapeutically test immune cell engagers. While a primary focus of this research will be to develop therapies that can be translated clinically to treat ovarian cancer, projects are anticipated to be broadly applicable to other tumor indications and will involve parallel studies in other disease areas.

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

3. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Department of Pediatric Oncology is seeking a full time Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Nataliya Buxbaum. The Buxbaum lab focuses on immunometabolism as it relates to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and cellular immunotherapies. Our bench-to-bedside laboratory and clinical investigations are centered on graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) with a goal of developing new imaging and therapeutic modalities for this condition (Assmann, J.C. et al. Blood, 2021 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32785680/; Mhandire, K. et al. Metabolites, 2021 https://www.mdpi.com/2218-1989/11/11/736; Buxbaum, NP, et al. 4. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Goodrich lab at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study prostate cancer lineage plasticity (see Ku et al. Science 2017, Mu et al. Science 2017, Pearson et al. Cancer Cell, 2021). The postdoc will work with a dynamic team of clinicians and scientists to perform both pre-clinical experiments and clinical trial correlative studies aimed at both understanding mechanisms underlying prostate cancer lineage plasticity and targeting them for therapeutic benefit.

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

6. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The laboratory of Dr. Marco Davila in the Department of Medicine is looking for a postdoctoral candidate to work on a research project aiming to generate novel chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells specifically targeted to antigens for the treatment of cancer. The specific research project involves the usage and identification of antigens for targeted cell therapies, CAR design, and experimental models to validate antitumor capacity. The selected individual will perform studies using in vitro models to validate and enhance the ability of CAR T cells to be used as effective cell therapy. The experiments will also involve the analyses of immune cell functions and mouse models of cancer.

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

8. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Liu lab (https://www.roswellpark.org/xuhang-liu) at the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking highly-motivated postdoctoral fellows with interests in RNA and/or cancer biology to join our efforts in fighting cancer. We employ a multi-disciplinary approach that combines in vivo mouse models, in vitro patient-derived organoids (PDOs), classical biochemistry, cutting-edge multi-omics techniques, and advanced bioinformatic analyses to discover key post-transcriptional mechanisms that govern cancer progression and metastasis. We aim to develop innovative therapeutic strategies, in particular RNA therapeutics, to translate these mechanistic insights into the clinic.

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

9. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

A postdoctoral position is available in the Atanassov Lab in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, New York. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven postdoctoral fellow to study the role of deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) in cancer. The postdoctoral fellow will work with a dynamic team of scientists and research fellows in an outstanding research environment and utilize genetically engineered mouse models and biochemical approaches to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of how DUB functions potentiate cancer growth and develop strategies for their therapeutic targeting. The study is supported by NIH funded R01 award, and the position is ready for an immediate start.
