AARI Winter Internship May 2024 on "Biofertilizers" for Loyola College - UG Students

Winter Internship 2024 Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI), conducted 11 days winter internship program for Loyola College, UG Plant Biology and Biotechnology final year students.  The Internship program was covering Vermitechnology, Nitrogen fixing Bacterial isolation, compost preparation, Seaweed Liquid Fertilizers and other topics related to Biofertilizer. The 11 days program started on 18th December 2024 and till 30th  December 2024 for first batch and for second batch it started on 2nd January, 2025. The job

The department Environmental Microbiology is seeking a postdoc in metabolic modelling starting 01.06.2023. The position should strengthen our in silico team focusing on quantitative description of biotechnological processes and microbial catalysts.

Your tasks

Interact with microbiologists and analytical scientists

Perform flux balance analysis of microorganisms in pure and co-cultures

Conduct 13C fluxomics to describe stationary and in stationary metabolic states

Enable `Omics data mining

Your profile

You hold a PhD in either bioinformatics, bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, microbiology or biochemistry with a focus on modelling

You have experience in constrained-based modelling

You have experience with 13C fluxomics, either stationary or instationary

You are interested in coding, data analysis, statistics, and maybe have experience with Python, Java, or Matlab

You are fluent in English and have experience with publishing.

Salary
