The salary structure follows the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations. HRA and other standard allowances will be provided as per Central Government Rules.

Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience

1. Academic Requirements

• A Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent in the preceding degrees.
• A consistently good academic record throughout.

2. Experience Criteria

• Professor: Minimum 10 years of Teaching, Research, or Industrial experience. Out of this, at least 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs or similar institutes of national importance. Candidates must demonstrate leadership in research, Ph.D. guidance, and high-quality journal publications.
• Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of Teaching, Research, or Industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
• Assistant Professor Grade-I: Minimum 3 years of industrial, research, or teaching experience (excluding the experience gained while pursuing a Ph.D.).
• Assistant Professor Grade-II: Eligible for candidates who are fresh Ph.D. holders or have less than the 3 years of experience required for Grade-I.
