The CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, has officially invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for a high-level scientific position under Notification No. 0726/A.

💰 Remuneration & Eligibility

As an upper-tier project role, the position offers substantial emoluments alongside high-impact research responsibilities.
Monthly Emoluments: ₹67,000/- + 30% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 40 Years (Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD candidates per Government of India norms).

🎓 Academic Requirements

Essential Qualification: PhD in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Virology, or any other relevant biological subject).

💻 Desirable Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in advanced genomic workflows:
NGS Core Skills: Greater than 1 year of experience in high-throughput library preparation techniques (metagenomics, whole genomes, and transcriptomes).
Data Analysis: Greater than 1 year of experience processing high-throughput sequencing datasets.
Programming Proficiency: Solid programming knowledge with proficiency in at least one research language (such as R or C/C++).
Experience dealing specifically with wastewater metagenomic datasets will be highly favored.
