Hands-on Workshop on Application Bioinformatics - 2020

About the Workshop

Knowledge in Bioinformatics becomes inevitable to be successful in academics and industry which deals with any life science research. By understanding this clearly, in July and August 2020, the Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI) organizes the 10 days “Workshop on Application Bioinformatics” intending to provide hands-on training for the students and researchers in modern and essential in-silico tools.


Objectives and Highlights of the workshop

 To improve practical knowledge of bioinformatics among the students and young researchers.

 To give the participants hands-on experience in using various genomics and proteomics tools.

 To support the researchers in fine-tuning their research to achieve the proper results.

 Only 10 candidates are allotted for a slot.

 Individual support in learning and assignments will be given as the part of the training.

Molbio and cloning tools

Designing (PCR/RT-PCR/Blotting) primers & probes

Who Can Apply

Students from Bachelors and Master degrees, Ph.D. scholars, and faculties in Life Sciences /Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy /Industrialists from various biotechnological industries and biological fields can participate in this program. Certificate will be provided.

How To Apply

Interested candidates should submit registration form and Fee to the Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI) on/before 25th July, and prior booking slot confirmation can be done through E-mail (aari.tamilnadu@gmail.com). 

Registration Fees & Course fees

Registration fee is ₹500/candidate, while Course fee is ₹5000/ candidate (Indian*). The course fee should be paid in full on/before commencement of the workshop.
