While marine red algae dominate our coastal vocabulary, their freshwater counterparts, the Rhodophyta, represent an ancient and highly specialized evolutionary lineage. AARI Summer Internship on Algal Biotechnology for Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai Students May-June 2025

 Summer Internship 2025 Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI), conducted 15 days summer internship program for Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai, PG Botany final year students.  The Internship program was covering Biomass Production, Biomass Harvesting, Biomass Processing, Lipid Extraction, Phycoremediation, SLF and other topics related to Algal Biotechnology. The 15 days program started on 21st May 2025 and till 5th  June 2024.
