While marine red algae dominate our coastal vocabulary, their freshwater counterparts, the Rhodophyta, represent an ancient and highly specialized evolutionary lineage. AARI Summer Internship Program Participant list December 2022 (Annakkili Amma Research Institute-AARI)

 

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP/TRAINING/WORKSHOPS

               Every year Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI) organizes various Internship Training programs and Workshops on various topics with the aim of providing hands-on training exposure on  various techniques of Biology. The objective is to bring the students and young researchers into one platform to improve their practical skills.

During December 2022, AARI conducted fifteen days summer Internship program in which students from various Institutions took part, and the program started from 19th December. The fifteen day program was well utilized by the candidates to develop their knowledge on algae and their culture techniques. 

The program was started with the theory session regarding Sterilization, Media Preparation, Sample Collection, Slide Preparation, Microscopy, Documentation (Photomicrography & Camera Lucida), Culture Inoculation, Streaking techniques, Sub Culturing, and Unialgal Culture development. after the theory session every techniques were practically done by each candidates separately... 

This Post contains the Name List of the students, who participated in the Internship Program during 19th July 2022 to 11th January 2023. This list is to cross verify the certificate provided by AARI (AARI certificates are provided with QR codes if anyone want to check the authenticity of the certificate can simply scan and verify the Name and AARI register Number).

 Summer Internship 2025 Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI), conducted 15 days summer internship program for Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai, PG Botany final year students.  The Internship program was covering Biomass Production, Biomass Harvesting, Biomass Processing, Lipid Extraction, Phycoremediation, SLF and other topics related to Algal Biotechnology.
